It all began today part 4

Yesterdays training was amazing. Really good weather, not to warm and yet not to cold either. I roughly did around 45km, maybe more, i do not know since i have no bicycle computer on my bike, but with a little help of the Internet i figured it out.

I didn’t plan to take a long run, since i have a race next Sunday (August 26th) and that’s on a 43km course, but still it was a good run with some stunning scenery along the edge of Jursla in Norrkoping and Kvillinge Kyrka. That part of the city i live in is beautiful and with a lot of hills…

I really hate hills, mountains and all other steep objects when i’m out riding my bike, but one thing is good and that is that they give you a lot of more power in the end. That is after about 15 of them over a course of a week or so. I might ask Jonny, a co-worker, to tag along this week for another run on the same path i did yesterday. I’m not sure he wants to since he is running a marathon on Saturday the 1st of September. He is nuts !

I’ll see how my legs feel tomorrow and maybe i’ll take them out for a spin, but i don’t want to end up with any injury before the race this coming Sunday, since i really want to go flat out and establish a good time.

I have also posted an advert on Buyitnow’s website asking anyone that has a Canyon Speedmax 3 or Canyon Roadlite 5.0 to contact me, since i want to buy a new bicycle. About 2 years ago i owned a Canyon Speedmax 3 bike, but i sold it because i got the stupid idea of getting a drivers license, it eventually didn’t happened and i got stuck with no bicycle at all. Now i want it back or maybe another one just like it. They are quite rare in Sweden, but hopefully i can find one. Otherwise i’ll just have to save money and buy a new one from the Canyon factory.
