Yet another Swedish poem i wrote a few years back. I’ve included a translation as well, so that you can judge which one you like more than the other.
The Original Swedish version :
Stilla stunder utan liv.
en stilla famn av roser; ett liv i misär.
formad av tidens gång; sinneslös.
Sargad av tiden och sorgen
i avund av sanningen; mitt liv
The translated version :
Silent moments without life.
A silent embrace of roses; a life in misery.
Forged by time; senseless.
Lacerated by time and sorrow
in envy of the truth; my life.
